geared toward the young reader. As a retired Children's Librarian and author of children's books, I find the underlying message and information about love geared appropriately for young children, a necessary support for nurturing parents and their children. Using photos of animals makes this particular book accessible for the young and the young at heart. I own the book and recommend it. Marshall's extensive research on the subject of love, his condensation of that material for the very young, is masterful. Barry Simon is also a well informed and astute interviewer.
